Once you’ve filled in the form and submitted your details, a member of the DoHire team will review them and contact you.
Where do I see new enquiries?
New enquiries will be sent to you by email from team@dohire.com and will also appear in your private ‘supplier dashboard’ area. You will have access to this once you are fully setup.
What information will be on the enquiry sent though?
You’ll see the location of where the tools are needed, the duration and the start date and you’ll see a description of what tools/equipment are needed.
Do I have to send quotes through for every enquiry?
No, you choose which enquiries you’d like to fulfil, it’s your choice . You can also set a radius for enquires e.g. 15 mile radius for collection/ delivery.
How do I know what tools/equipment the customer wants?
The user can select from a list of the tools we have categorised on the site. These tools are displayed in a way that isn’t brand specific but has the description of the tool or piece of equipment they need. The enquiry is sent through to you which gives the item the customer needs and the duration of the hire.
Can the customers ask questions about the tools they’re hiring?
Yes, customers can ask questions about the tools they would like to hire e.g. will it fit though a doorway of …? You’ll then have the ability to reply to these questions on the note section under the enquiry/ quote on your dashboard, you can also ask questions from here too.
Can I specify the forms of ID needed to confirm the hirers details?
When you set up as a supplier you can select what forms of ID you require e.g. driver license / proof of address etc
Can I track my sent quotes?
You can see all of the quotes you have sent from within your ‘supplier dashboard’ area. You can also see when they have been accepted.
How will the customer know when I have sent my quote?
The customer will receive instant notification by email and through our website by automatic notifications.
What are DoHire’s charges?
We take a small percentage for any successful quotes you send through, there are no other charges. Once the user has accepted and paid for your quote, we take a percentage and pass the rest on to you. Once setup we can speak to you in more detail about how this works. How will I get paid?
We take the payment and pass the money on to you. We can discuss with you how the invoice processing works.
Can other suppliers see my quotes?
No, only the customer you send the quote to will see your quote.
